Plug-In Formats

Current is an instrument plug-in that supports the following formats:

• VST2
• VST3
• AU (macOS)
• AAX (Pro Tools)

To use Current you must have a 64-bit digital audio workstation (DAW) that supports third-party plug-ins in at least one of these formats.

Internet Connection

An internet connection is required for activation, but not for general use.

Current’s Stream view offers a cloud-connected sound platform where you can download new presets and sounds directly from the plug-in. While an internet connection is required to browse new content, the Stream also functions offline, allowing you to search and use everything you've already downloaded without needing to be online.
