How do I install expansion packs?
Last updated 11 days ago
In this article, we'll explain the different types of expansion packs and show you how to install them.
Standalone Expansion Packs contain audio files in .WAV format, which you can use directly in your DAW. Only sample packs and wavetable packs feature the standalone version, and they can be purchased directly from our website or inside Current.
Current Expansion Packs are exclusive to our flagship synthesizer, Current, which means the presets, samples, and wavetables can only be loaded within Current. Current Expansion Packs are included in our All Access plan.
Rift Expansion Packs are perpetual preset packs that are exclusive to Rift.
Note: The 'Factory' packs on our website are included in Current.
Installing standalone Expansion Packs:
Navigate to your Minimal Audio account and then to My Products.
Select the Samples or Wavetables tab to download the desired standalone expansion pack.
Unzip the file and open the folder, where you will see audio files in .WAV format.
Installing Current Expansion Packs:
Open an instance of Current inside your DAW.
Head to the Stream view on the left navigation bar.
Click Download on the desired pack.
Note: You do not have to manually import your standalone expansion packs inside Current, as they are integrated inside Stream.
Installing Rift Expansion Packs:
Navigate to your Minimal Audio account and then to Rift Presets.
Download the desired installer, open the .pkg or .exe file, then follow the installation instructions.
Once the installation is complete, restart your DAW and open the Rift plugin.
Switch to the preset view. You will see the newly added expansion presets.
